Class In A Glass
By a customer from Guildford, England , 18 Feb 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Its the little things that I loved about this. Dawn French and Catherine Tate are excellent but it's the 'little bits' that the other characters bring that were hysterical. Very unreal in places and a bit surreal in others but I laughed out loud all the way through!- Was this review helpful to you?

Customer Review
By a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008A very funny comedy with a top class cast.
This was originally on the BBC and it went unnoticed by me when it was first shown on the t.v,however having heard
alot about it i rented it from Amazon and wasn't disappointed,it was hilarious.
It's not your usual comedy where you can see the joke coming or the obvious funny gag and then you laugh sort of thing, this is more of a dark comedy,as you might call it.To me it's more the characters who are funniest rather than the storylines.
All credit in my opinion to the cast including Dawn French,Catherine Tate,David Bradley,Anne-Marie Duff and many more.Highly recommended.- Was this review helpful to you?

A great opener and shocking follow up
By a customer from Ashford, England , 19 Jun 2007This had the potential to be a great show. The firstseries has everything you could want from a sitcom, quirky characters, small location and wild west themed pub with a landlord who doesn't understand his deaf wife.
Then came the shocking second series!!!!!!!! I only managed 1 and a half shows befores realising that everything that had been funny was now NOT!!- Was this review helpful to you?
