Sweet if quite naive film

A nice little film, it has a slow-moving story which fits the setting. Acting is reasonable throughout and there is nothing to spoil the gentleness of the film overall. One you could watch with your mother!- Was this review helpful to you?

(3)No good for deaf viewers
By Maelan (1 review) , 26 Aug 2011Sadly I wasn't able to watch all of this film. I'm partially deaf and the soundtrack was so noisy I wasn't able to understand the dialogue and therefore had no idea what was going on.
If it had had subtitles I could have continued but, as with a lot of old dvds, and some new ones annoyingly, subtitles are not seen as a compulsory addition to a dvd.
Other deaf filmgoers may also find the same problem with this film and have to give it a miss.- Was this review helpful to you?
