Semi-documentary style. Mud and teeth missing etc. Bit slow by todays standards, even the Tom Selleck versions later had a problem speeding the story up. If like cowboys, and want a bit more reality than Clint's comics, then this is a good one. Charlton did some good flicks. The days before the girlie-boys.....Sean and Charlton were actually big guys. Have you seen Gladiator with the small Australian lorry driver in it? Compare to the 2 handed sword fight in El Cid. Kirk D was small in Spartacus, but well formed, and had the stage-prescence....
