Following on from Passport to Paris, the American pre-teen marketing phenomenon that is the Olsen twins again makes for Europe in this twee teenybop adventure. The result is more travelogue than drama, although it could also be mistaken for a feature-length exercise in product placement. Amid the landmarks and labels, Mary-Kate falls for charming Jesse Spencer, while Ashley gets cosy with Brandon Tyler, a fellow US member of the Model United Nations, which is in Blighty to show how people of all backgrounds can live together. It just makes it all that much easier if you're a sassy US pin-up.
I have seen quite a few of their movies and series and am quite a fan of the twins. However, I must confess I find this particular movie a bit boring. The story line is good. However, the way the story is dragged out is quite boring. It is funny at times, and the American view on British way of life is funny/interesting too.
I have watched quite a few of the Olsen twins films and I found them fascinating, but this film didn't do anything for me. Whether I have got tired of them or whether they have now run out of new storylines, I am not sure. This film is a typical boy meets girl theme set in London and probably would be a wow with teenagers.
