Having been in the States, I missed series 4, so had to watch 5 first, This actually features Simone Lahbib replacing Hermione Norris, although I certainly missed Carol Jordan in series 5, the new character is very good.This shows ITV can still make decent stuff when they try amongst most of the reality rubbish they churn out today.- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer from Barnsley , 09 May 2009In reviewing the episodes of 'Hole in the Heart' and 'Wounded surgeon', I don't know if it's just me or am I starting to find this excellent 5-star series starting to get a wee bit far-fetched ?
The acting of the main & supporting characters remains top-notch, even with the change of female lead, but I was finding the story-line of 'Hole in the Heart' to be a little bit over the top.
Nevertheless, can't wait to review Series 5 !!- Was this review helpful to you?

Great programme but

Somewhat concerned that 'Dr Hill' is played in an over scatty manner (hence not 5 Stars) but otherwise for those who like this genre a real must watch.- Was this review helpful to you?
