Three girls (Mae Clarke, Jean Harlow, and Marie Prevost) leave their one-horse town for jobs, excitement and romance in the Big Apple. One, not so wisely, becomes a kept Park Avenue mistress; another settles happily for an agreeable chauffeur; and a third becomes a store mannequin. The last is Harlow who has to deal with the fact her lover is married — should she go or should she stay? The blonde bombshell's wisdom prevailed off-screen — after this routine tale, she left her career doldrums behind at Columbia and joined MGM where, as they say, the rest is history.

Mariah Carey is a great singer but her acting sucks.

Yes on the verdict of watching this film she is a much better singer than an actress.

On the whole this 'mob' picture has a few twists and turns and is worth watching - if you have an hour or so to spare. If not don't bother there are much better ones to rent!
