Great Stuff
By a customer , 24 Apr 2011My 5 year old son loved it - and let's face it you're not likely to want to watch this unless you've got a kid next to you so what else do you need to know? Great 70's nostalgia.- Was this review helpful to you?

Nostalgia's not what it used to be
By Anthony Hunt from Maidstone, Kent , 07 Sep 2006Well I watched it to the end, unlike my 4 and 7 year old's who walked out after getting bored.
It's a quaint throw-back to British cinema of the seventies, but the slow pace and lack of action make it low in appeal for today's youngsters.
I sang along to the musical numbers (yes I had the soundtrack LP, sad I know!) and it wasn't a bad film. It's eco-friendly re-cyling message was way ahead of its time.
When all's said and done, it's a bunch of hairy tellytubbies and a weak plot, lacking the charm of the animated series narrated by Bernard Cribbins.
And Bonnie Langford, then as now, grates.- Was this review helpful to you?
