Slightly dissapointing
By a customer from The Midlands , 27 Sep 2006[Highly rated reviewer]
I don't usually rent out these type of documentary dvd's because they are generally too short to fully give the right insight in to the subject matter.I feel they rushed through telling you about some of the greatest warrior women than the world has seen. The narration was good but just not enough content to keep you interested in the subject matter. As the title was called Women at war I was dissapointed that their was no mention of some of the more well known female heroes of WWII. I was of the impression that at the least Violette Szarbo would gain a mention for her incredible daring as a spy during WWII. On the whole, an interesting documentary for general watching but will prove a big dissapointment to the more enthusiastic followers of the subject.

By a customer from BRISTOL , 24 Jul 2008Typical, it seems, of this series, there's plenty of detail. Unfortunately the narrative is unexciting.- Was this review helpful to you?
