[Highly rated reviewer]Fun movie, but maybe not Almodovar's best. (See "Talk To Her" or "All About My Mother" for the director at the top of his form.)
By the way, if you prefer subtitles to dubbing, this DVD offers both and you can choose which you want. Don't be put off by the 'Dubbed' label in the description.

Epitome of AlmodovarBy a customer from Isle of Skye, Scotland , 04 Aug 2010Aren't most of Almodovar's women on the verge of a nervous breakdown?
Another wickedly fast romp through the bizarre and surreal. Even something as innocently iconic as Gazpacho gets the Almodovar makeover....
Almodovar: Not at his bestBy zedphelan (84 reviews) from London , 18 Jul 2010Not my favourite of the Almodovar collection.
A story that revolves around several highly strung neurotic woman andd how they cope with the breakdown of there relationships.
Awkwardly funny an slightly painful to watch. This film makes women to be an unstable species.
Not one for me.
Women on the vergeBy venezuela (157 reviews) from Isleworth , 28 Mar 2010A film I watched many years ago and just wanted to watch again. This is my opinion is by far one of Almodovar's best films, an easy to follow script, women with real characters as opposed to some of his films with women just there for the sake of it, running around screaming hysterically etc or being over passonate. Very funny and a little OTT in places, but you have to understand the Spanish sense of humour and culture to appreciate this one!
'Women On The Verge Of A Nervous Breakdown'By a customer from London, England , 15 Feb 2010An interesting character study.
