World Snooker Championship 2007

this game lacks everything and is impossible to play the long shots are extremely hard and safety is also. If I was you I would not bother.

Well I got this game delivered @ 10.15am today at 10.40 am today It is on its way back to Lovefilm, WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I put the disc in my XBOX 360, went out for a run, climbed MT Everest,found the ARK. and when I got back it was still loading. Finally got to the gameplay, I broke, computer came to the table racked up a break of 100. Absolutley dire game, dire graphics,very very long loading times. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

After reading all the bad reviews i almost didnt bother with this one.. but... i am so glad i did.. I loved it... it does have problems... the menus are VERY slow loading, and it takes forever to actually start up (i jsut put in the disc then go make tea!!!)

But when you do get into the game its really good, fantastic physics and very quick and easy to pick up and play.

The commentary can be amusing (well john virgo can, parrot and davis are a bit lame!) but it is repetative.

The AI on the other players is great.... Yes, you DO get punished if you make a mistake, but thats what smooker is like IRL.

You can just as easily clear up from a bad shot your opponent plays, as they can when you do it, the trick is to play safe and be patient, then you wont have to sit through a clear up very often!

I have now bought this title, its a game i know i'll play lots.. for ages... (that need to win everything has kicked in) and i didnt want it to take up renting slots for weeks. But i do advise renting it to give it a go first.

Getting my first 147 felt fantastic :) and slamming balls into pockets at full speeed it very satisfying.

I give 4 stars... but ONLY because of the slooooow loading.. if that wasnt an issue it would be an easy five.

this has got to be the worst game i have ever played in my life its a sager game and they aint that good
