Thank you very much your worship

I don't know why this gets a bit of a panning, after all it is for children. My children thought Worzel was great when they were small and now my grand son thinks so too. Fair enough the picture quality isn't that good a bit grainy and the colours arn't that strong but the cast put their usual 100% in and how can you critisize Worzel he's too nice to fault for long, so long as it keeps the children amused its OK.- Was this review helpful to you?

More of a Musical
By Glenn Perry from England , 18 Jan 2007Being a Worzel fan it isn't hard to love this Christmas special, although I wasn't crazy about the musical numbers. All in all its fun to watch but the quality is below average. Very grainy. Still worth a watch though.- Was this review helpful to you?

Do not adjust your set!
By Marc Lewis from South West of England , 24 Jul 2006The first thing that hit me as soon as I put on this DVD is the exceptionally poor quailty of the recording its self. The grainy look and the mono sound look is more worthy of a 20 year old VHS home taped copy thats been left in the attic than a space age DVD.
As for the story, I found it a rather lack luster afair that seemed to be more about showing off its guest stars (Billy Connolly , Babs Winsor, Bill Maynard) than telling a decent story.
Give this one a miss and stick to the 'Complete Series' Worzel DVDs for much better quailty all round.- Was this review helpful to you?

For serious Worzel fans only
By a customer from west sussex , 11 Sep 2005Very short DVD with too much singing and dancing; great if you love musicals. If you're renting it as a Worzel fan then stick to his series DVDs and avoid; it's not a patch on his regular stuff!- Was this review helpful to you?
