[Highly rated reviewer]Sterling performance as always from the fantsastic Mr Hardy as an intense, raw Heathcliffe. Previous adaptations of Wuthering Heights seem brittle compared to this tour de force.
A must for all period drama lovers.

The wonderful BBC do it again.By Kench (13 reviews) , 01 Aug 2013Impossible to improve the telling of this fabulous classic story. The performances, the script, the photography etc etc are faultless. The brilliant BBC drama department will continue to lead the world with intelligent productions like this.
Haunting and DarkBy NurseBetty (8 reviews) , 10 Jun 2013Disturbing and dark. The story of a destructive relationship and a love turned on itself. Tom Hardy's roars of 'Cathy!' across the moors will stay with you for days after. Well worth a watch. Superb cast.
Moody characters and beautiful sceneryBy a customer , 11 Oct 2012Thoroughly enjoyed it. Initially put it on my list to enjoy a couple of hours of Tom Hardy but then was captivated by the story. The scenery was beautiful and all the actors played their parts well. There were some unanswered questions for me but for a 2 hour version it seemed a sympathetic adaptation. It inspired me to want to read the book so I have downloaded it (for free) on my kindle. May edit my review after reading the novel if I find there are any glaring errors!!
Wuthering HeightsBy Purdy (48 reviews) from Bury St. Edmunds , 14 Jul 2012This version is far superior to the 2011 film. Quite gripping in parts and good acting from the main leads. A long film of 3 hours, although because we were drawn into the story line so successfully, it did not seem to be so long. Well recommended.
Good TV dramaBy Jimcam (1 review) , 11 Apr 2012Good solid performances all round. Tom Hardy is the stand out though. Production a bit ITV drama, but then it is, so no
