This is just extraneous material - avoid!

Am I stupid or was I just exceedingly hopeful that there could be two more x-files DVDs in the ninth and final series of this awesome show? Hmmmmm. What could the final eight episodes reveal that the seemingly penultimate ep. 'the Truth' didn't?

Ha ha joke's on me. This little 'gem' is actually a very sloppy collection of x-files ephemera including some dreary monotones from the special effects guys and lots of moody silences in the 'why did we delete these scenes' commentary.

Maybe see this pish if you're a completist. I dunno, with a raging David Duchovny crush I felt ripped off. Gee...what more treats for the fanbase could be on the seventh and final DVD in the box set? I'm too excited to even guess.

Must go back to the beginning...weren't they the cutist little bunnies way back then?

    X Files Season 9

Reyes and Doggett are just as good as mulder and scully - Fantastic Show Best Ever, I never got to watch them all so this is the perfect way to catch up.

    Bit of an anti-climax

Doggit and Reyes are great in this and tbh the X Files could have carried on without Mulder and Scully...the episodes are all interesting and different.

The annoying this is though the last 2 hours of it are supposed to be the final anwers or 'truth' i guess it does explain it a bit, but is still an anti-climaz to me, is just like a massicve summary in a court room of the whole 9 seasons.

    Well worth a watch though!

Great episodes!!! Although Mulder is missing (once again) agent Doggett is doing a great job replacing him! I enjoyed all 4 episodes!

For one reason and another I did not get to see this series originally but if this first disc is anything to go by it is just as good. Some people won't like it but if you like aliens and conspiracy theories this is top stuff!

    Nothing important happened.

This is the first time I've seen a less than brilliant X-files. Scully seems to be in the background more often than not and Mulder is completely out of it. I think John Dogget's character is an acquired taste but already I like his directness. I wish the refridgerated human tongue in 4-D and the vomiting in Daemonicus could have been left out though.

    Journeys End

An end to one of the best ever TV shows series 9 of the x-files is a mixed bag, as in season eight the highlight is the performance and chemisty of the wonderful dogget and reyes characters and some of the monster of the week type episodes. The letdowns the super soilder story arch and the now tired mulder and scully characters, but still a must see for all fans of the earlier seasons but don't watch this unless you seen what goes before.

    Top Class

The West Wing Season 9 was probably my favourite season. The battle for the Whitehouse and the next presidency is a real insight into the political dog fights of a US presidential election. I recommend watching all 9 seasons.
