James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender star as the young Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr (Magneto), as the X-Men franchise gets back on track.

    [Highly rated reviewer]

Saw this last night and thought it was one of the best superhero movies in years. It is easily up there with X1 / X2. Easily better than Thor. I came out ready for a sequel.

I thought the opening scene was great even though critics had knocked it. Its a great story about the origins of Prof X & Magneto and the beginning of the X-Men.

    Go see it.

  • Top Super Hero Film

    Rated - 5.0 stars

This one of the best super hero films I have seen in a long time. It really puts others such a Spiderman and Thor to shame. The plot is well fort through and developed hooking you to the screen. The way it links to films to the Cuban missile crisis is really clever. Onto of that the action is amazing. The fights between mutants is awesome and on its own would make a good film. It relies heavily on special effect that are just so realistic. The way that it references the later X-men films is quite sneaky as careful place in expiations of how everything in the later film began. This film is gripping.

Really good film to watch, very enjoyable and exciting. Good acting. If you like the other X-men films then you will more than likely enjoy this one.

Does what it says on the tin. Effects were excellent. Professor X was earnest and Magneto suitably troubled. Retro style had a good comic book feel about it. Script was good too.

  • GREAT FILM, but too many storyline mistakes.

Loved it! WORTH SEEING. The retro style of the film absolutely suited the actors. Although there were loads of storyline glitches. And I wouldn't say that McAvoy and Fassbender were the stars of the film. Kevin Bacon really stole the show.

  • Fairly Good Movie

Excellent casting, actors do well in this X Men Film, I like this kind of genre, but i do have to say i was disappointed with the story line. Not sure how many times you can use this story line as the main plot for an X Men Movie. If so of the chat online about the next X Men movie is correct then it is the same story all over again...
