[Highly rated reviewer]Ok best explain that i hated all the X-Men films. Yeah the first two were good films but as Xmen films they were terrible.
Why take the name of something that you have no intention of being faithful to? Why not make a superman film with Superman in it for 10 minutes then follow batman taking a holiday on Mars fighting Darth Vader. (ok a bit OTT)
But seriously these films have very little to do with the true Xmen. Then have the stupidity to ruin what characters they do involve.
This thrid film is the worst of them all, It destroys everything that was wrongly built up in the first two films then rushes through the film putting one set piece together with another! If you like Xmen AVOID THIS LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!!

A little rushedBy a customer from Didcot , 09 Jan 2009This film felt like it was rushed. Some of the main characters from the last few films seemed to be put aside for some new uninspiring mutants except for the old favorites like beast. There also seemed to be less depth to the film than the other two. The action scenes were decent as was some of the dialog. It's not a bad film but i wouldn't say it was great neither.
Not as good as I'd hoped.By a customer from Exeter , 07 Jan 2009
THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHideReview title says it all really. It left me quite unfulfilled and annoyed at the bitty nature of the film. There were too many plot strands for me, and nothing was adequately explored, especially Rogue's decision to undergo the cure, (I appreciate that could be a plot point for a possible fourth outing, but I don't know X Men lore that well). I don't expect De Niroesque performances from the cast, but neither do I want panto'. The death of Prof' X was a blink and you miss it affair,(I refer you to the Rogue situation). Then a crash bang wallop, by the book, final battle was all bluster and no substance. Ratner's other work sometimes has a knock about charm and humour to it but this was a hollow affair, that didn't have any payoff. Overall a flaccid affair.
Just greatBy a customer from Chesterfield , 22 Dec 2008ok so i bought the box set of all three films as they are all brilliant the story is so well done and the characters develop and move on which is great to see. All three films are so well done - rent them all!!
The best of the trilogyBy a customer from Solihull , 02 Dec 2008Personally, i think this is the best of the three x-men films, however i was annoyed that Nightcrawler and Toad weren't in it. However this is the most action packed of the three. Well worth a rent, or even a buy
Great superhero flickBy a customer from Tunbridge Wells , 01 Dec 2008I'm not really into superhero movies, but I really liked this.
Now I come to write the review though, I can't really remember why I liked it, but I did.
