When a banker smuggles jewels out of the country on a passenger plane a gangster who has been pursuing him forces the pilot to land in the jungle. The landing is poor and the gangster is killed on impact but the banker is among the handful of survivors who must make their way through the tropical terrain back to Rio de Janerio on foot. However, as the secret of the jewels emerges the banker finds he cannot trust his fellow survivors anymore than he can the jungle's wild creatures or ruthless bandits!
