Could try a lot harderBy pouxin (4 reviews) from London , 07 Jun 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]This starts off promisingly enough - very attractive cast (including Mark Ruffalo who has since earned his stripes in a number of much better films), ambitious direction, clever cinematography. However, it very quickly looses its way almost entirely. The plot eats itself, all the characters become more and more like each other, and there seems to be no real point or 'moral' to a story that seemed to start off as if it had something to say. The last hour views like a poor quality Gap commercial (lots of pretty people on pretty beaches wearing tasteful knitware), and the dialogue disintergrates accordingly.

okBy a customer from Towcester , 06 Dec 2008a bit boring. Althought he story could have been gamed for some attention grabbing unfortunately it resulted boring
WastedBy a customer from Forfar , 20 Feb 2008This film is frankly a waste of precious time and a waste of money. The acting is tremendously bad, there is no story to speak of, no point to it at all - Avoid this film at all costs.
Quite good actuallyBy a customer from London , 30 Apr 2007I was surprised by how much I like this film. I knew it had a cast I would like but found this film had the look of dissapointment to it. I instead found it an enjoyable study of relationships. The first half was somewhat more enjoyable then the second (maybe it was the good choice of 90's music...Sonic Youth 'Kool Thing' makes everything look better) but all up it is worth renting.
