An early film by Sunny Deol. Very well made, scripting and acting is top notch. Great performances by Sunny, Kulbhashan Karbhandha, Danny & Amrish Puri.
Good action, but plenty of serious drama. Farah stars opposite Sunny, and they both play their roles well.
Story - about a Yateem child being bought up by the man responsible for him being Yateem. Throw in a flirty step-mother, corrupt police officers and evil bandits, and its a great movie all the way...except for poor music.- Was this review helpful to you?

By a customer from London , 29 Jul 2006I saw this movie when it was first released in the cinemas and was amazed at how beautifully the movie was crafted. I loved renting it out again as it brought back many memories. It is a simple story of Sunny Deol who takes the title of the movie as the 'orphan' who was borne to bandits and raised by a police officer. Without giving too much away it has some great acting from all the star cast, especially Sunny Deol in one of his earlier roles. In a time of countless India vs Pakistan movies, this is a great movie which unravells a touching and simple story of revenge and finding where you belong. Be prepared that the movie is very long (almost 3 hours) but you wont really notice as the movie is very absorbing.- Was this review helpful to you?
