dont watch the film, read the book it will be a million times better than anything carrey does.
Saw this movie two days ago, and loved it!! hes very funny and plays the character to perfection. having Rhys Darby in it as well was a huge surprise and i was the only one in the cinema in a fit of laughter when he arrived on screen (e.g as Im a big fan of the Flight of the Concords...), which made the film even better to watch. There is nothing remotely Christmassy about the new Jim Carrey movie – released in cinemas on Boxing Day – but it is a film of great good cheer. It’s been a while since Carrey did an out and out comedy – unless you count Fun With Dick and Jane, which we don’t.
