My 6 year old daughter loved it

I've seen poor reviews of this film - me I'm not to sure they are justified.
I went to see it in 2D with my wife and 6yr old daughter and would say the trip was a success.
It's a kid's film. It doesn't have much plot or challenge, but has quite a few amusing bits. I've seen a lot worse films. My daughter on the other hand loved it and a couple of weeks later still talks about it.
One for the kids to enjoy and the parents to enjoy watching their kids enjoy something that keeps a bit of the essence of something they enjoyed as a kid. Hope this makes sense.- Was this review helpful to you?

He still steals picnic baskets and has his side kick Boo-boo, but this time Jellystone Park is risking being closed down and all the forest logged by the evil Mayoral candidate. Anna Faris pops up as the love interest for the park ranger. I thought it was cute, family fun and was surprised by all the negative reviews. Come on people, it was never going to be an Oscar winning piece of cinematography! He’s just a talking bear with a tie and collar and a hat!- Was this review helpful to you?

Picnic Baskets at the ready

What a crime against the original
By Postmodernpenguin (1 review) from Bedford , 07 Sep 2012First twenty minutes rate a five star review but as soon as the love element arrives and the film switches away from what should have been the main theme of Yogi trying to outsmart Ranger Smith it just becomes dull and boring.
