Watch for the dance not the actingBy fondofilm from London , 16 Dec 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]Yes, the story line is basic, the acting even more so, the script is terrible, its one long music video blah, blah, blah, but in all honesty, who really expects depth from a dance movie?
That said, this movie is basically just an excuse to watch some truly incredible street dancing. The choreography is very creative and they have managed to group together some of the most well respected street dancers in America.
If you love dance, forget 'Honey', watch this. The chapter selection even allows you to jump straight from dance scene to dance scene without having to watch the filler plot.

Good for what it's forBy OneDweezy (1 review) from Peterborough , 16 Mar 2008Lets break it down, it's a dance movie and I dont' suspect it's meant to be anything else, except for the random bits of romance and drama in it.
The acting was incredibly poor, very cheesy and the plot was extremely predictable. As a film it was pretty poor but what saves it is it's dance scenes and music.
The dance scenes in this film are a must-see, amazing moves and the fact that B2K themselves do it makes it even better. I enjoyed this film because of my interest in street dancing but other than that, me and my friends had a good laugh about the poor acting.
So here's my conclusion, if you wanna see a dramatic film with a half-decent plot..then give this film a miss, you'll be hugely dissapointed. If you wanna see some amazing dance moves and great hip hop music with the group we all (used to) loved, then you definately have to see this film.
I give it a 4 out of ten for it's purpose, as I am not judging it as a regular film but a dance movie.
Film OK but dancing is brilliantBy a customer from UK , 26 Feb 2008All the other reviewers here are right. The film is pretty basic but we found it entertaining and kinda sweet actually. But the dancing is awesome. I'm from LA originally and go back at intervals and I think this reflects what people have been doing out there in the noughties (tho' this is obviously far more professional) far better than any other dance vid I've seen. I've got dance vids going back 40 years and this is defo my current fav. We've now bought it and watch it at least once a week.
