A quirky and enjoyable rom-com that has Woody Allen stamped all over it.

Dull As ...By a customer , 15 Jul 2011
[Highly rated reviewer]So boring and predictable. Had I not gone with a couple of people to see it, I would have walked out quite early on. A very wooden film.

Very very dull.By Deglaze (4 reviews) , 23 Sep 2013I love Woody Allen films; but this is awful. English dialogue/activity, even among the academic/intellectual/arty characters that populate Allen's oeuve, is not the same as American dialogue. Thus resulting in a painful, clunky script with little understanding of London and London-life. Watch 'To Rome with Love' or 'Midnight in Paris' instead.
Good open endingBy Torito (1 review) , 24 Jul 2013It's been a long time since I haven't seen a Woody Allen's film. Not disappointed. I do like the twists and the open ending, only one thread in the storyline is closed, and it is the least likely too.
Fantastic is you like Woody AllenBy loonylinney (89 reviews) , 24 Jul 2013Typical Woody Allen - subtle, witty, full of black humour. Yes, some of it may be predictable, but Allen has a way of portraying situations in a special comic way that makes even the predictable funny. A sterling cast give fantastic performances. If you don't like Woody Allen, don't bother - if you do, you are in for a treat. It's a shame this film didn't receive the publicity that 'Midnight in Paris' his film of the following year, was given. Both are signature Allen. Highly recommended.
Classic Woody AllenBy Inskip (4 reviews) , 06 Jul 2013Woody Allen on top form. A tale of love, breakups, turmoil & misunderstandings. All set in London but without any American skewed view of London. It works on every level. If you are a Woody Allen fan, you will love this. I did.
You will watch a faintly average movieBy a customer , 29 Jun 2013Very poor. Little better than a Sunday afternoon ITV drama. Awful characters and poor dialogue, steer well clear and watch early Woody Allen instead.
