Still BrilliantBy Antony Leigh from Manchester, England , 13 Jun 2006
[Highly rated reviewer]I made my kids watch this because I was determined not to let them force me to watch the Scooby Doo Movie again!
Once they got passed the black and white stigma, OH MY GOD DAD HOW OLD IS THIS? They absolutely loved it.
I love this film and have seen it so many times I quote it in my sleep and I am happy the love for this film has now been handed down to the next generation of idiots!
Coffee down the nose type laughs. I love it and will forever be one of my favourites.
If you haven't seen it get it RENTED!!!

Brilliant.By JohnnyX (100 reviews) from Bristol , 24 Aug 2008If there is an antedote to the modern malais, then this is it. It is a superbly crafted parody of romantic horror films, and the director has inspired some truly memorable performances from his highly talented cast.
It looks good, it feels good and by God it does you good !
Gene Wilder and, particularly, Marty Feldman have never before been used to greater effect. There are many gems to be enjoyed in almost every scene. I particularly like the horse. It certainly goes over the top in many ways, but this is entirely justified by the nature of its subject matter and the nature of its presentation.
It is a comedic masterpiece of which any comedy actor or director would be rightfully proud.
Young FrankensteinBy a customer from London , 14 Aug 2008Typically excellent Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder. You have to laugh at such a tribute to the horror movies and enjoy their enjoyment of the piece. Marty Feldman's eating of the fox fur and Gene Hackman as you wouldn't imagine him.
Customer ReviewBy a customer from UK , 23 Jun 2008An absolute gem!! truly comical film!! very strange also, as much as i love the genius of wilder the show is stolen by marty feldman, he steals the show all the way through, the frau blucher horse moment 'BLUCHER' and the head singing scene!!!i will never get bored of watching this, i saw it approx' 23 years ago for the first time and loved it and have watched it since and loved it each time. brooks at his true best!
frankieBy a customer from Newton Abbot , 29 Mar 2008I am a fan of this sort of film - old fashioned and dated now I know - but still enjoyable for a blast from the past.
Young FrankensteinBy a customer from Dunfermline , 07 Mar 2008Brilliant. Good performances all round, my favourite being from Marty Feldman (Frankensteins sidekick). One of those films that will still make you laugh after a good few watches. Great.
