A Film to Fall in Love WithBy AQuietHero (13 reviews) from Brighton , 13 Nov 2012

[Highly rated reviewer]There's clearly a pattern of people watching the first twenty minutes and turning this off. What a waste! I'm writing this review largely as a response to that: my girlfriend and I totally fell in love with Your Sister's Sister, and have been waiting for the DVD since seeing it at the cinema.
Ok, so it's not a film for everyone. It's a bit of a slow burner with an admittedly awkward first scene. But it soon warms up into a humble classic. Don't expect a laugh-a-minute gutbuster; this is a classy, quiet pleasure and a very human drama.
It's a film about real life and normal people (with a slightly weird plot twist towards the end). It's got bucketloads of charm, three strong characters, and a gorgeous soundtrack. We also like Dan in Real Life, The Dish, and Episodes, and this draws favourable comparisions to all three.

Not bad, but not goodBy a customer , 12 Aug 2013After 15 minutes I was going to turn it off as the dialogue was awkward between the 3 characters (there's basically only the 3 characters the whole film) and the storyline slow. However, I gave it more time and it did warm up, with a bit of a twist nearer the end. I wouldn't watch this again but was just about watch-able at the time
your sisters sisterBy a customer , 11 Aug 2013boring what a complete wait of time I would not recommend this film to be watched an I feel sorry for people that do watch it
Boring House DramaBy a customer , 10 Aug 2013What a BORING film with BORING characters. The entire storyline is pathetic, my neighbours lives are more interesting. The guy acts like an 18yr old about to go to uni and is basically unlikeable with no weight of developed personality at all. What a waste. Had to skim through the film to see the end - and yup no surprises here - boring and predictable.
Yea, watch it - slow but interestingBy a customer , 09 Aug 2013A strange one but worth watching. Moves Oh SOooo slowly but it's novel in that it's really like watching real people interact rather than actors following a predictable script - there are pauses n stuff like in real life.... kind of appealing, although I watched it with a few breaks. Not sure could have stuck with it at one sitting! Thought provoking. And, the ending moment made me laugh out loud...
oh dearBy a customer , 04 Aug 2013Not good. waste of time. I'm glad I flicked through. Rubbish plot. Watch Sweetland instead. Poor accents there but very genuine acting.
