This is a documentary which must be seen. It gives a whole new insight into how the world works. Pretty amazing and shocking stuff. While the religion section of the film is slighty dubious, and seems pretty thinly founded, the rest of the film seems to be pretty solid.

    A must see.

After you have watched this you should try to reasearch the subjects metioned as this documentary gives good insight into the world we live in and how things have slowly developed over time to reach the stage we are now at in world current affairs.

Watch this now! Yes, the first part on Judeo-Christian theology is pretty flimsy, but still asks questions (or presents evidence) that should be taken into consideration. Still, I would be fairly surprised if a Christian would stop believing in the divinity of Christ after watching this.

It is all about control, whether via religion or money and I think this is a sterling effort by the makers. This delivers to the viewer a set of questions that are not really answered but I think the aim is to simply open our eyes. Draw your own conclusions and mine is 5 stars.

  • Conspiratorial and Irresponsible

A feckless and irresponsible misuse of evidence, Zeitgeist is sure to be a hit with anyone who wants disbelieve all of the 'lies' that have been told to them by society but who don't want to be burdened with pesky things such as credibility and factuality. Anyone who claims that this supposed documentary is compelling has not done any further research into the claims put forward by it. The film's use of a video clip of Carl Sagan is even more infuriating, as Dr. Sagan would most certainly be rolling in his grave if he knew he was being used in this film. Read 'The Demon-Haunted World' to build up your skeptical toolkit, and use it well when watching this film, or any documentary really. It's scary and more than a little bit depressing how easily people can be convinced of the most outrageous of conspiracy theories.

Ok. This is a film that will introduce the public to the great myths in recent human history. Peter Joseph on his first attempt to raise public awareness on the actual cultural Zeitgeist knocks right on the head the roots of all what is wrong in this world, our world and the only one we have.

  • Hard to deny really..

Zeitgeist is basically a two hour documentary that is broken down into three chapters. The first debates the authenticity of the various religions, whereas the second two chapters focus more on how the modern day world is being governed and controlled.

I recommend that everybody should watch this film. I agree with the previous reviewer that the first chapter is questionable however the next two, especially the second, throw up some riveting facts and theories that can only be described as... undeniable?

You certainly need to watch Zeitgeist and decide for yourselves.
