This is a classic Woody Allen film: - To begin with there is a genius concept - a man who changes depending on the people whos company he is in, a human chameleon. This enables Woody to think of hilarious gags, what makes it more entertaining is that it is filmed as a serious documentary with all the trimmings. Newly shot footage is combined with archive reels and Woody Allen's character is often inserted into these. One of my favourites is when Allen is inserted in the background of speech Hitler is making! Top entertainment.
