The period when self-named serial killer Zodiac terrorised San Francisco was "very scary", director David Fincher has said. After playing a policeman in Batman Begins, starring Katie Holmes and Brit Christian Bale, Gary Oldman is to take to the law courts as an attorney in Zodiac. Oldman, who played Sirius Black in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, will play attorney Melvin Belli in the murder movie based on the real story of the notorious Zodiac killer.
