Sherry Buchanan Naked!!! (shes worth 5 stars but the films so bad i took away 4 of 'em)

the movie is really bad not to mention that the title is totally misleading...there are about 5 zombies in the whole film...poorly dubed and scripted and shot and acted and directed and, well just about everything was poor....the only upside was the hot leading lady gets naked quite alot and shows a hell of alot for a movie this old and not streight porn...i love old horror movies but this one really isnt worth watching, only watch if youve already exhausted the classics George A Romero, the origional Zombie series from italy, the romero remakes and what not- Was this review helpful to you?

By CardinalSin (7 reviews) , 13 May 2013Basically Zombie Flesh Eaters (also starrring Ian McCulloch) crossed with Cannibal Holocaust, but actually a good film in it's own right. Unintentionally very funny and tacky, but less dull than CH. Good vintage gore and some great gratuitous nude scenes.- Was this review helpful to you?

An enjoyable hybrid!

Nothing about it is particularly original but the producers have to be admired for trying to mix together all the genres that were selling well at the time in a cynical attempt to make a few extra Lira! They even use the same locations as ZOMBIE-FLESHEATERS, and throw in the same leading man for good measure! Only in Italy! For some reason, this one escaped the attention of the BBFC censors and was not even cut, let alone banned despite being just as graphically violent as the films it was copying that DID get banned! It should not be called 'zombie Holocaust'
By Daniella1987 (1 review) , 30 Oct 2012I am a huge Zombie film fanatic and I was expecting a lot more from this. Its good but not what you expect it to be. Im rather disapointed as i expected it to have a george a romero feel to it as its from the 80's. I gave it a 2 star as the gore was of good effect and rather intense. fun and tacky!!

The zombies are coming...

Not really much to promote this movie it is good in its own way and presents an interesting take on the zombie mythos. More of a Frankenstein doctor creating zombies on an island over run by cannibals. Bit of zombie fun when you have exhausted the obvious big six then time to break into some of the lesser classics.- Was this review helpful to you?
