I'm some what dissipointed with the other reviews as i thought, back when i watched it in 1990 and in 2007, that this film is quality. With such stars as patrick killpatrick, pam greer, tracy lind malcom mcdowell and the dude from nightmare on elm street part 3, the film has fine acting and the effects, which you have to remember is a 1990 film, are wicked. Granted you have to wait till the end for the best of the effects but the film is tense throughout and not short of action.
the plot is outlined in the first 10 mins of the film so it is easy to follow and there are enough twists in the film to keep you interested, yeah i can take that its a little far fetched but listen, its a sifi horror, i repeat sifi horror, which means that it's going to be far fetched hence the fiction bit at the end!!!! if you enjoy robocop terminator or just a fan of traci lind then i strongly recommed this film, also number 2 is'nt that bad either.- Was this review helpful to you?

(14)Terminator meets the school kids.

I was very surprised to find out it was made in 1990. It has a very 'Westworld' look and feel to it. I expected to find out it had been made BEFORE Terminator, perhaps in the mid 70's.
Some of the scenes are so like scenes from Terminator (released 6 years earlier) that I am surprised that the film makers did not get sued for blatant copying. (Or perhaps they did?)
The female love interest looks like Sarah Conner. Sexy, with long blond '80's bouffant' hair.
The DVD cover picture shows a half human half robot face with the legend 'Exterminate', so very like the cover of Terminator.
It is good, but has the usual errors for such films. Cars driving on grass with squealing tyres, guns that shoot 400 rounds a minute whith an ammunition clip that hold 40 rounds, that can fire for 40 seconds without reloading while the people firing them have no where to carry the 100 or so clips of ammunition they would need for the shoot-out.

Stay behind after class!

Very interesting film but slows down in the middle. If your a fan of Re-animator you'll be a fan of this. Good rental!- Was this review helpful to you?

Hilarious - delirious
By Savage (632 reviews) from London, England , 30 Apr 2008If you're looking for a really stupid melodrama with reasonable amounts of exceptionally cheesy blood and gore then this film is for you. If you're looking for that film, only directed by and starring the campest people in history, then you must rent this now. Needless to say, the acting is bad and the plot has massive holes and the production is insanely cheap, but, really, it's such a lot of fun. The gang-members all look like they just finished up a male-modelling course run by Zoolander; and the three robot teachers are played with delirious glee by Patrick Kilpatrick, Pam Grier and John P. Ryan, who wins the award as the person-most-obviously-enjoying-himself. By any reasonable standards, this is atrocious, but it's also great fun.- Was this review helpful to you?
