A game the whole family can enjoy
By a customer from England , 10 Jan 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Credit must be given to EA for being able to flesh out a fantasy sport into a full blown video game. The sport looks to have been replicated almost perfectly and the stadiums and players look great. The only major down side to Quidditch World Cup is that it becomes very repetitive, very fast and is incredibly easy. One for the hardcore Harry Potter fans only but if youre a parent and you want a game to enjoy with the kids then you could do much worse then Harry Potter: Quidditch World Cup.- Was this review helpful to you?

By Scooby (29 reviews) from Ferryhill , 23 Aug 2009I ended up cancelling this game, because I realised it was for the original Xbox, where I am now playing games on the Xbox 360 Elite.
My original Xbox is stashed somewhere in my loft, alongside my PS1, an Atari console, and also a Commodore 64 with a printer and all the other bumf that goes with it...
I am sorely tempted sometimes to get em out just to play Duke Nukem one more time
woot bring back the good old days...lol- Was this review helpful to you?

not as good as i had hoped!
By lee burke from dumbarton scotland , 17 Jul 2007I rented this game for the x box, as I am a big harry potter fan!. the graphics were ok in all fairness, its just that this game was to easy to play. it kind of feels like you are playing a football game but in the air. the movement of the broomstick is limited to horizontal play and there is no vertical movement option, the console does that for you. but if you like football games and love harry potter then this game is for you!
The only reason i was dissapointed with this game is it feels like playing football games and they bore me!- Was this review helpful to you?
