Arcade classis reborn on psp

Like outrun before it, arcade classic after burner- the top gun-esque plane shooter gets the 3D treatment on PSP. Sadly, though it moves quickly and looks nice, the environments are a little basic, it's not quite as thrilling as it should be and the story seems tacked on. Once it hits its stride, though, and you've bought exhaust-igniting afterburners for more speed, you can't really fault it's quick-paced shooting action. Upgrade your craft, chain shots together for combo points, admire the cartoon cut scenes and hunt down missing prototype jets. A good effort.- Was this review helpful to you?

(2)Quite repetitive
By a customer from Hereford , 26 Aug 2009The game just consists of you flying a plane, shooting at targets. I didn't like the game myself but someone else might.- Was this review helpful to you?
