Play this game with a friend on co-op mode and its simply superb. Guns can be upgraded as you progress in the game. A word of advice use and upgrade the AK-47 for primary weapon until you have enough money to buy the M134 or MGL –MKX.

My friend and I eagerly awaited the arrival of this game, as we both love playing Xbox (because we're nerds) and any chance where we can play some solid co-operative campaign stuff is always welcome, same reason we got Splinter Cell: Conviction. Anyway, we both got it, loaded it up, and jumped on in to be met by........mediocrity.

The game trailers we had seen promised so much more, and a good idea that should have been fun was plagued by awkward aiming, a thin and trivial plot along with generally bad things.

The aggro system, which basically meant suppression fire and attention drawing, didn't really work, or it did but only in very scripted situations, like when you had to defeat a heavy armour enemy or take down an MMG. There is an element of customisation, but to really not effect. Weapons can be bought and a load-out created, but no real effect comes of it other than slightly more powerful firepower. Masks can also be bought, but again these offer nothing more than aesthetic changes.

I didn't give this game a low score because it was bad, it's because it could have been so much more. The online multiplayer is rather stale, with each game lasting twenty minutes and the same three or four objectives having to be done over and over again. A great deal more co-op aspects could have been used, like alternate paths or tactics. Just more variety would have been welcome.

This game is an okay rental, but I wouldn't lose sleep about not ever playing it.

co-op option is better than the actual game, grafix are snappy, but sound and story-line are debatable. it's a must play with mates and a beer, but on your own it's tedious and repetative.

This game highlights just how good a co-op shooter could be but it's still not complete. Looking forward to playing the sequel.

  • An EA game

Graphics - shiny. Storyline - ridiculous. Sound - dreadful and patchy. Combat and gameplay - very repetitive. All in all, a typical EA game. The only good concept to come from this nothing title is the Co-Op. It allows you to complete the game with a friend, yes a real life person who sits next to you, sharing beers and laughs not someone you can't see harking undecypherable nonsense over the microphone.
