Assassin's creed set in the 14th century's developed by Ubisoft you get to play as an hero named Ezio with fully loaded character well designed and have the ability to do anything. the map is an open world were you discover new things and learn aswell also feel it like you were there . it has improved million times better then previous assassin's creed 1 because Ubisoft was serious about this and it has made it. am telling you this is the best game out on xbox 360. I have played modern--warfare 2 what was the hype about ? it was crap the storymode was short and didn't have any interesting part until the end of the game I just said to my self what the hell ? assassins creed 2 will take over modern-warfare anyday. infact am going to buy this and play the story mode over and over again because you will never get bored of this game. i just dont know how to explain how good this game is I mean everything it's perfect well made sometimes you think to your self am i watching movie because everytime there is a scene its soooo good especially when my favorite moment in the game is when Ezio and his brother climbed the church, and wished to always have happy times together, and then you see off in the long distance, 'Ubisoft presents: Assassin's Creed II'. that intro was just toooo much for me, . its the best game ive ever played and will be , its just beautiful how it was made.

    100/10

  • Take out the future part!

Great fun while you're playing Ezio, but they should just take out the 'future' element- we didn't care about the future characters, the apple puzzles were dull and it made the ending anti-climatic.

An epic game, Ubisoft make it hard to disappoint.

This sequel to the first game brings so many new things to the table. For starters theres an updated combat system allowing the use of new weapons. Add to that impressive graphics and a well thought out engaging storyline this game is not far from perfect.

    Pros:

Excellent storyline with lots of depth

Fantastic musical score ( you get a real feel for renaissance italy as you glide across the rooftops of Firenze)

Impressive graphics and open environment offers a lot to do

Excellent combat system with controls becoming second nature making you feel more engaged

Long game with plenty to do

    Cons:

There aren't really any cons I can say about this game

It does what it says on the box and more.

Definately worth a buy at least a rental. Don't be surprised if you want to buy this game after renting it. Definately one of the best ps3 games so far.

The jump in quality between this and the first Assassins Creed is almost unbelievable at first. The first AC had some repetitive moments and was very limited. But in AC2 there is so much more variety, so much more stuff to do. Apart from just assassinations, the game focuses much more on the personal life of the main assassin, Ezio. This allows for different kinds of missions, including rescuing people, beat up episodes, races, courier assignments, assassination contracts etc. You can also buy different armour and weapons, and also customise the colour of your clothing. The graphics have been given a huge improvement too. Even after I finished the game, which has up to 14 DNA sequences as they're called, there was still much to do, including scaling viewpoints, exploring assassin tombs (for special armour), collecting feathers, finishing contracts, beat up's etc. All in all, a brilliant game that I would recommend to anyone.
