Astro Boy has been upgraded and reinvented for the new decade, but he still manages to keep that retro shine that manga fans have adored for so long. This is particularly true in his latest adventure, which combines the latest 3D animation with classic platforming and shoot-em-up action. This game ties in quite nicely with the new animated feature film, and sees lil' Astro take on a monstrous quest to save Metro City from the evil President Stone and his robot army. The murky streets of the metropolis and the freedom of the skies are your battleground, as you leap from platform to platform and fly around taking out waves of bad guys. A vast array of iconic weapons from the anime, manga and feature film can be collected in the game, from Astro's Finger Lasers and Arm Cannon to his Drill Attacks and even his Butt Machine Guns. Fabulous. Using all of these skills, including Astro's hovering ability and rocket powered boots, you get to tackle some massive bosses and never-before-seen enemies in Metro City and the mysterious Surface. If that wasn't enough, the Astro Boy video game contains a whole heap of unlockable items and features that range from exclusive artwork to different versions of Astro Boy and more.

I never thought this game was very good. As a 8 year old he thought it was hard .gave up quite early on this game .Me as the adult thought it was hard as well. You cannot win them all.
