Great Multiplayer

Best part of this game is the multiplayer. It is one of the best multiplaying games I have played on Xbox 360. Up to 24 players can compete against each other in two teams. The range of maps is great, with different playing styles needed for each one. The ability to use tanks, cars and helicopters is a great added bonus. Although the multiplayer is, in my opinion, brilliant, the single player storyline was not. I found the first few levels reasonably interesting, but felt no real pull to carry on playing. Also, in one level, I had to continuously put myself at risk, because the only way to get more enemies to approach was to move out of my position and stand in the open. I don't know if that was a fault or a deliberate factor, but either way, it made me become pessimistic about the main storyline. Making my thoughts about the single player game worse, I recently played COD4. The storyline for that was brilliantly done, it made me feel as if I HAD to continue playing. In fact, the storyline is so good, I haven't even tried the multiplayer for that one yet...
Overall, if you want a good, solid storyline, go elsewhere. But for a fantastic online playing experience, this is the way to go.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good game, but be careful if you're renting.

ok...only worth a rent if there's not much else!

However there's no real 'focus' to it, its like playing in a multiplayer match with 100's of complete novices, i.e shooting in all directions, with enemies in the open. AI is poor, abd the plot is quite fragmented and uninteresting. Will keep you busy for a couple of afternoons, but can be quite repetitive. Will get tiring uite quickly. Love it!

I bought this game a couple of years ago and I loved playing every second of it! It is definatly more aimed at the online gamer as this is more of a port from the PC version where there isnt a storyline at all. Not everything is the same as the PC version so dont go expecting the same just on 360.
Just a quick bit of fun advice... suicide cars are a LOT of fun! Find a car on the map, plaster it in C4 explosives, get your friend to jump in as a driver and you to get in the car with your head out the sunroof with the C4 trigger on the ready. Drive into a group of the enemy and press the bang button! :D Its a lot of fun 8D
