    [Highly rated reviewer]

I got this game fairly quick to be honest which is quite good!, and this game is better than what I expected!, usually games based on movies are not that impressive, but this one surprised me, missions are good, action more based than adventure, missions are all unique, a bit repetitive at some points during missions, no real difference to the objectives, can complete in about 3 - 4 hours, rent this game if your looking for a typical FPS action game with a unique strategic touch to it, i give this 4/5 stars!

absolutely awful! average graphics no story at all! i think 5 weapons in the whole game?? That's just painful. games based on films don't normally do very well but this is a new low....

I rented it hoping it would relate to the film more but it dosent hardly if at all tie in with it apart from the aliens of course. i don't think you see a human face once or your own character. the cutscenes aren't cutscenes there just tiny clips with your commander talking and maps!i did recieve it very quick but that was probably the only upside to it! i do not recommend it and please please dont buy it! AWFUL!

Found this game to be suprisingly good, wasn't expecting much from it as the ratings on it were quite low, but with this one its best to see and make your own minds up, i would definatly recommend you give it a try.

The Film was bad enough so there wasn't much hope for the game. Average Graphics, Lame story, There's literally 5 guns in the whole game, which takes about 5-6 hours on hardest setting. Mega easy achievements. Just glad i didn't buy it. So many better FPS games out there, don't waste your time with this junk. Activision Should be ashamed.

  • Interesting twist in gameplay, but not the most entertaining.

This game had its pros and cons, which was a bit of a surprise because I expected only cons.

The good thing about this game was the way you got to control your navy using a separate interface. It is definitely a unique feature. And you get to upgrade your ships more by getting head shots on your enemies. However, thats where the good stuff stops I'm afraid.

The game was very easy to play. I played maximum difficulty and completed it in one sitting. There are only 5 guns you can use in the entire game. The missions are also very similar to each other, with two of them being almost identical.

Also you get to take control of your ships directly with a wild card for combat purposes. However this mode just consists of basically hitting either two or three buttons and aiming the cross-hairs fairly roughly. Almost always you will sink the ship in this mode.

That said, if you fancy a break from games that make you tear your hair out and gnash your teeth then you could do worse than this game. I call this kind of game doodle games, because it's not taxing and it can be fun if you don't take it too seriously.
