Improves on the original in every way possible. More weapons, a much deeper storyline (that you will appreciate more if you played the original) and awesome side missions. Only one problem, you wont be able to just rent this game. You will have to buy it haha, it demands your attention at all times.- Was this review helpful to you?

By HENDRIX420 (10 reviews) , 17 May 2013Utilizing cel-shaded graphics to create vibrant comic book style visuals, Borderlands 2 is an action packed FPS that incorporates an XP based character development system and a lengthy story campaign. Not dissimilar to the likes of Halo and Red Faction, this is an exciting game that gives good value gameplay wise and an array of interesting weaponry, but is perhaps let down by being a bit too repetitive. Also, a major disappointment for me was realised when the progress for player 2 during a 6 hour split-screen campaign session was not saved, resulting in player 2 being too weak to contend with the tougher opponents when returning in the later levels and a cumbersome process to restore some of the XP only to have the game forget it again. This killed the experience for me as I wanted to finish it in co-op mode, but I realise if you were playing alone this wouldn't be a problem. Worth a rent if you like shooters.- Was this review helpful to you?

Same old same old

Got really boring.
