[Highly rated reviewer]this game was well thought out and put into a nice package. can be a little frustrating at times but is well worth a look for anyone interested in this type of game.
amsome gameBy smcglade (154 reviews) from Coleraine , 20 Sep 2008i love this game and this is the best of the brother in arm games on the xbox. it is a must for war gamers out there for xbox users.
Not your average shoot 'em upBy fenr1c (19 reviews) from Birmingham , 05 Jul 2007Brothers in Arms is part of the race to provide the best world war 2 combat sim, and it has some stiff competition. From the Medal of Honor series and the excellent Call of Duty this does a fair job of hoilding it's head high.
Unlike the other I mentioned, this one is squad based and you can issue orders to your fellow squad members. If you don't then they at least have the brains to follow you and get under cover and provide you with covering fire.
As the game progresses you get extra squad members with more orders to issue. Be warned you cannot go alone, gung ho and alone like the Medal of Honor series, you'll seriously get punished by the AI.
Graphics are more than adequate and the game moves as fast as it can. The AI is sharp and on higher difficulty levels you will find mistakes punished harshly, but the learning curve isn't that steep.
If you are looking for a decent shooter/world war 2 sim then this is it.
