Head for cover!

Although I've never bothered with CallOfDuty before I thought I'd give this one a go on the wii.
I love the style of the intro and mission map etc, the game play appears to be great so far (although dead already several times) and the graphics/sound quite good. The video and language can be graphic so this isn't for kids (although the video shows reality of war but the language could be missed).
I'm sure it looks amazing on a HD console but lightgun style is much more fun!
Even if you've never played CallOfDuty before it is worth a look!- Was this review helpful to you?

NO SAVES!!
By smiggy797 (1 review) , 11 Aug 2011Foung this frustrating as there are no save points. You have to complete the whole mission, no save and coming back to it later. Also during missions it is very annoying going right back to the begining of mission each time you are killed.- Was this review helpful to you?

Best wii game I have played so far.
By LyreDragon (3 reviews) , 12 Jun 2011People are reviewing this comparing it to the 360 version, but players have to remember that the console they are playing it on is a wii (A console nintendo has aimed at kids), So the machine wasn't built for graphics or built for age 14+ games.
The graphics were really great for a wii, and a good wii game that isn't mario or somehow aimed at or for kids was refreshing.
The controls were easily learnt, and didn't under use or overuse the nunchuck, like so many games do.
The plot line was good, and surprised me at bits and the switch in viewpoints from Russian army to the Marines stopped the game from becoming boring.
But I had to turn the subtitles on to understand what people were saying at points.- Was this review helpful to you?
