    [Highly rated reviewer]

sometimes it's good to relive the old days, sometimes its best to leave them where they are. That pretty much sums up this collection of games, some classics in there that have aged like a fine wine for the gaming connoisseur, final fight, bionic commando, ghosts and goblins and mercs. Other titles which have aged like milk rahter than the wine and stink up the place, but i'll leave it up to you to find out whether it's the games or my review that truly has, the fruity smell.

Nostalgia is always rose tinted they say and that is especially true of these retro compilations.

While you may have loved Street Fighter 2 at the time that was before it was outmoded by the likes of Tekken and Soul Calibur.

That said this is a fun trip down memory lane and one of the better retro comps. There may be a few too many scrolling shoot-em-ups but Final Fight is still good fun and the likes of Bionic Commando and Forgotten Worlds still play well.

Just remember that a lot had happened in the gaming world since you last plugged in your Mega Drive.
