    [Highly rated reviewer]

On the PS2 I would say most management sims flatter to decieve. Whether your into Alex Ferguson's player manager or the LMA series more often then not the games are disappointments. So playing this game without harshly judging on previous efforts was hard.

Now I'm catious when I say this was one of the best management sims on the PS2, simply because the standard is not all that high. If you want a management sim get a PC. But championship manager has definitly made vast improvements from the last game.

Whats good? I like the press releases and being able to ship your players out on loan to almost any club in Europe. I like the fact you must get your coaching badge at the beginning which consequently infulences what happens in the rest of the game.

Whats bad? It's still way short of Football Manager on the PC and with a big side it seems way too easy. With Liverpool I won the treble by buying Maxi Rodriguez. You can't interact with players properly either and even the press releases that come out don't seem very varied. Worst of all when buying Keiron Dyer in exchange for Bolo Zenden the Transfer just never wnet through. A possible glitch which may pop up in your game.
