Well when i first got this i so wanted it to be Resident Evil at Sea. It wasn't but it wasn't bad. Sorta. First off i know it is set on a russian sea vessel but come on some subtitles for the various rooms and doors ya have to go through. A map would have helped also. The ship is vast with no-way of knowing where to go sometimes. And the camera really should have been player controlled. Apart from that i enjoyed. Good storyline and some good gore. Definently one to rent as opposed to buying

    Positive: Great atmosphere

Negative: No in-game mapping, savepoints way too far apart, no checkpoints in between, linear storyline

    One for masochists only

  • Unappealing Resident Evil wannabe

This game is ugly to look at and ugly to play. Even though I am a huge fan of the survival horror genre there was something about this title that irritated me. There is a high level of gore which might make some people want to run out and play this - but to me it just felt tacked on for shock value because the game has no content on it's own. There is also one glitch that every now and then causes your characters face to become blacked out - it looks like he has tar falling over him - it made my skin crawl and freaked me out more than the actual game!
