Creepy Classic

Codemned was one of the first games I played. I was fortunate enough to play in the dark, with the sound up. Surely the only way to play games on the 360?

I thought this game was really atmospheric, spooky and sinister. I got totally gripped by the story line and often jumped out of my skin or soiled the sofa when confronted by a crazy axe wielding tramp.

There are lots to do in this game, collect all the TV's, metal, dead birds (??) and unravel the mystery of the serial killer.

If you like this one, check out F.E.A.R for scares. Just don't forget to wear the brown trousers when you see people moving in the shadows, or hear voices shouting behind the walls.

OK..... Where to start, nothing but net ! Amazing, incredible, addictive yet very unpredictable and very attune with the human psyche. 'Your walking down a corridor, the lights flicker... You notice shadowy movement and a rapid moving figure far down the hall in the shadows. It runs, you cautiously give chase thinking you know precisely what will happen' I. E (You turn the corner and something jumps at your face EEEEEEEK WRONG !!!!) . . . (You turn the corner nothing happens then your turn back around to get shocked and attack before you even get chance to think EEEEEEEEEK WRONG) Both of these situations have happened to you before in past game titles right, so you think you know what to expect..... Think again ! Forget all you have experienced and play this game, I assure you if you like such titles as 'Call of cthuhlu dark corners of the earth' or F. E. A. R (the whole franchise) or Saw or simply want to try it out because you like jumpy creepy games/films. Then you WILL fall inlove. Yes its old, yes the graphics could be better because your use to them being better with latest releases. But no matter what the only thing you need to remember is . . . Lights off and nappy on and pucker up lol !

dated but playable

enjoyed playing the game. It is a bit dated now and suffers from the old classic flaws, like not being able to climb over things in the way or jump over them. decent story though much better than the second one. But if your expecting smooth gameplay and highly polished graphics give it a miss. But if your after something a little jumpy and different give it a go.

holy crap this game is jumpy. great choice of game for people who enjoy horror movies. not too great from people who are of a more sensitive view
