Absolutely stunning

Bought this game on release and haven't been able to stop playing it since. From the beginning of the campaign you know that it's going to be amazing, and it is. The story is gripping, you really feel like the fate of New York is in your hands, if you fail, so does humanity. I started on super soldier which is the highest difficulty and I found it really fun. It isn't too hard to the point where you're pulling your hair out, but it does offer a tough challenge. The games strongest point in my opinion is the options you have available. If you're finding a certain part too hard, then it's time to change your strategy, most battles can be totally skipped if you're the sneaky type, or won without firing a single bullet if you take advantage of the stealth kill feature.
The multiplayer is superb, CRYTEK really out did themselves with it. Just like the single player, there's a wealth of options with how you want to play. Your suit heavily affects your performance, customise it properly based on your playstyle and weapon choice and you'll stand a much better chance in combat.
Overall this is one of the best FPS games I've played this generation of gaming. It makes a nice change from the usuals and I'm very greatful we console gamers got this game.- Was this review helpful to you?

After the first couple of chapters the story really drew me in and made me feel as though I was the difference in whether humanity would survive or not.
I did enjoy the different tactics you could employ in each level, whether you wanted to go down the stealth route or the all guns blazing take 'em all down route. It really did add to the game and is something that I have to applaud the developers for.
The campaign seemed much longer than most other games of this genre and kept me entertained for well over 15 hours in my one play-through and was challenging but not to the extent of causing me to become frustrated.
All in all this was a really good game and one that i would highly recommend.- Was this review helpful to you?

Interesting SiFi

I didn't do much sliding around but I did find the stealth mode enjoyable.
There are many ways to complete the missions. Soft and stealthily taking out enemies in small groups or full frontal assault with all guns blazing. It depends on your mood.
This game was one of the most engaging I have played this year and is precisely the reason why I rent before I buy.
There is a good chance I'll just buy Crysis 3 based solely on the play of this game.

Crisis 2 is a must

Didnt expect it to be..........BRILLIANT!
