didn't think this game was out until mid oct? The videos and gameplay footage look good, but not sure which I would prefer between this and Two Worlds.

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHide

This game has gotten really bad reviews. I can see why, I almost threw my control at the TV because it crashed on loading and I lost everything. That brings me to my first point, saving. The checkpoints only last as long as you are running the game. So if it crashes and you haven't saved, you will lose everything.

Second the controls have been labled clunky but honestly they are no worse than Assasins Creed's controls, its just because they are in first person. Which I like, a third person view would ruin this game. The combat in game is very smooth, you will feel like a ninja at times.

Third is the complaint that people were expecting Oblivion sandbox type style of game and got a linear Adventure. So what? Many games are linear and are still great so why didn't they get bad reviews as well? The story is still good and Xana, who has been labeled a 'tart' is a succubus (the spoiler) so she is supposed to be sexulised, and she is actually the only over sexulised female I haven't found annoying in games. The fact she makes fun of Leanna, the annoying goodygoody female Heroine love interest type, just makes it better. It is not the games fault you didn't look into it more, so giving a bad review based on this is just cruel.

Fourth, now this is a complaint. The voice acting. UGH. Overall it is not toooo bad. But the main hero can be a bit off as the other characters can. But the hero doesn't talk much so thats fine =D

Fifth. GLITCHES. Including the crashes to the general falling out of/into walls and floors or even the entire level. They will annoy the hell out of you at times. The game seemed to have been released way too soon making a great game just good.

Overall I feel this game is great to play and amusing. Yes there are problems, but Oblivion wasn't perfect either. Rent the game and make your own desision but don't expect it to be something it is not.

I rented the game under the assumption it would've been similar to a story based oblivion RPG. Instead it is an extremely linear experience, with little to do other than complete repetitive objectives.

    Leave this game, period.

I had read the many bad reviews about this title but i was hoping it wasnt as bad as it sounded as i enjoy these types of games so i decided on renting it. Unfortunatly this isnt a very good title, it feels very much like king kong with the same clunky first person control and same sort of level design.

There are many ways for you to die on this game sadly most of them involve falling to your death because it is hard to judge and time your jumps again due to the poor controls and view. an option to play this game in 3rd person may have made the game a better play as i think mostly it is the poorly developed first person view that lets it down mostly. The storyline isnt so bad and the sexual comments can be quite funny at times from your female narator.

I have given this game 2 stars because i dont think it is 'ok' but it isnt 'dull' and its definetly 'disapointing'.

The game is very straight forward and very easy to play,i hoped for alot more as this title just came out after oblivion, and after seeing the pc version i hoped the power of the xbox 360 would be utilised. I was wrong the game is glitchy and does like to randomly decide if your character can jump to the ledge 20 meters away or jump 2cm dropping you to your death. you could play and complete this game in your sleep as its very easy to just run forward hitting the hit button and killing everything, the gameplay is the same as elder scrolls 3 for the xbox with improved graphics just think of a tester level for elder scrolls 3 1/2! could of been so much better. shame it didnt just let you use the bow, staff, magic and swords on one character that would of made the game more interesting.

  • Tiresome

The beginning of the games is good. But then the game crashes, and without autosaves it begins again. Infact this happens many times. The combat is repetitive and the split between the different classes is not good atall. If you could swap between magic, bow, sword and daggers that would be good. But you cant.

Good points - Interesting story; Interesting Enemies; Some good combat techniques

Bad points - Glitchy; Crashes; No autosaves; Repetitive; Split between different classes
