Just uncontrolled, uncensored FUN!
By dwarfery (2 reviews) from Sandbach , 29 Sep 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
Lets get one thing strait, this game isn't about an oscar winning story or the best visuals in the world but these definatly aren't things ignored by CapCom; The game looks great considering there are literally hundreds of zombies on the screen at once, each zombie being unique in movement and appearance, and the story, although some quests lack this tend to have great cutscenes with voice acting to match and excellently planned 'boss fights', as mensioned earlier the missions are split into quests which you recieve by text as you running around Fortune City (Las Vegas), however you are completely allowed to ignore these messages and just continue mowing down zombies, thats fine...if you're into that kinda thing.
Another great point about the game is that it's so very customisable, no two players will have the same expiriences when playing as new hundreds of weapons in the game differ when combined with other things found lying around to make 'combo weapons'.
The leveling system is progressive in that as you level up by doing quests or killing zombies you unlock more inventory, higher health and more combo cards which is really rewarding.
The online aspect of the game is really clever, it smacks you in the middle of 'terror is reality!' game show which does tie in with the story, and sets you up against 3 other contestants in various zombie related challenges, which differ from the typical sniping challenge to dressing your zombie up in the most mini-skirts.
The game is a great rent and/or buy for ANY gamer out there as long as you have the stomach for it! It appeals to both casual and hardcore gamers and should be the newest addition to your collection.

(37)It's more of an arcade game than I expected
By JoshGallimore (5 reviews) , 29 Apr 2013I don't know what I expected from a Capcom game, but it's just an arcade game with a rubbish storyline thrown in. If you know that you're getting into an arcade game you'll enjoy, unlike me who has come away very underwhelmed by it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Dead rising 2 is a good game!.
By Jordxbl (3 reviews) , 23 Oct 2012Dead rising 2 is a fun zombie hack and slash game. its a game which is most fun when playing with friends (personal opinion).
The graphics in this game are good but not the best in the world, but they look nice and work well with the game. The surroundings look nice and a have a realistic look to them which is good in any game, as it makes it feel more real. The zombies look good, well like what we believe a zombie would look like, there a few different looks of zombie's in game as well as male and female ones. thee is a lot of gore in the game and that gore looks realistic.
The story in this game, yes there is a story to the game. in it your daughter gets infected and you search out for a way to keep her alive and cure the problem. As you progress through the game you will meet survivors which you can help and take them back to a safe place. Some of these survivors won't be good they are called psychos which will try to kill you, you can take them down to make the world a better place or leave them. The game story runs on an in game calendar system which when you hit certain points will give you key missions to do.
The game is fun to play offline as there are many weapons to kill zombies with and as you do you will level up unlocking you new skills and combo cards which tell you what objects to put together to make and even stronger one. The game can also be played online with a random person or a friend. What you do is exactly the same apart from there are now to of you which equals twice the fun.
I would recommend this game to fans of the hack and slash genre and also to zombie game fans.- Was this review helpful to you?

ZZZzzzombie borefest
By Fightstar (6 reviews) from Kilwinning , 12 Mar 2012Total disappointment but what did i expect after the poor 1st game.
There's only so many times you can hit a zombie with a guitar.
Story basically involves going and collecting stuff from areas and fighting zombies to get there and back, ZZZzzz
Not for me.- Was this review helpful to you?
