Online Pass? Pain in the A--!

Well, the game is solid. Anyone used to playing DOA4 will know what to expect. Graphics are nicer and there are some great tweaks they have added. The story mode sucks, but that's kind of expected.
BUT...you get like 1 day online and you have to pay 800 points for a pass. Not great if this is a rental. Also the pass only lasts 1 year! September to September.! This sucks big time, and for the first time since Dead or alive 2 I won't be purchasing a copy.

The story line was very poor, the graphics are also really poor. the game play of the fighters was interesting, was different, but you have to pretty much button bash straight from the start, if you dont get first hit in its very hard to come out of the combos the computer uses one after another and this wasnt on Legendary setting either. I thought the controllers were hard to get used to as there are so many different types of moves and some of them are extremely hard to get used to.- Was this review helpful to you?

Lives Up To Its Predecessors

Game is an excellent successor to the line with much improved graphics. I agree that the storyline is tenuous,as was that with Tekken 6, but you don't play this type of game for the narrative...On the online pass issue, Voodoochilli, if you purchase the game new, the online pass is free courtesy of an in-pack code.- Was this review helpful to you?

boring Game
