I was very surprised, in a good way :)

Unlike the muppet above I have actually played (& completed it on both the normal & hardcore mode!) in just under 14 hours, which I think is fairly good for a short shooter like this. I also got all but 6 of the 50 achievements, that's over 8oo gamerpoints. The game is not for kids as its very gory & some of the finishing moves are just nasty, very brutal- but also in a good way. I also congratulate the developers on the way they incorporated Shadow (the dog) so you get to play some vital game missions as shadow which is loads of fun.
all round a very good reboot of a poor game. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all gamers (over 18 that is) :)- Was this review helpful to you?

(24)Awesome game! Awesome story!
By Worstripoffever (2 reviews) , 16 Sep 2012This game absolutely blew me away. It was the first game of its kind that I've seen anyway. Such cooperation between you and your loyal companion shadow! The only annoying factor was pressing A to disarm because they are moving around and you press A with your right thumb; the same thumb you need to aim and look around so they could have made RB the disarm- Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome To Rights!
By MrSinclair (23 reviews) from London , 17 Jul 2012This game is definitely not for kids.
Anyhow I was pretty surprised at what I started playing this morning, the game is awesome. Not just a typical third person shooter, the game works in brutal melee combat with a good fun shooting scenario. And to be fair, the character you play is just a badass, but not in a farfetched sort of way.
As for the people saying 'Repetitive this, repetitive that' Get a grip please? Majority of games tend to be repetitive, and all I can say to that is get over it!
Overall the game is pretty fun, definitely not what I had expected. Thats a good thing though! The missions where you get to play as Shadow the dog are just awesome, adds another cool element to the game.
RENT IT! :D- Was this review helpful to you?

Good fun
By raekwaan (5 reviews) from Birmingham , 25 Nov 2011Not a serious game by any means but lots of fun when you get to grips with it. Good 360 combat system for when you are surrounded, guns are fun to use as is commanding your dog to be very naughty. Some missions you get to be the dog and dog about the place eating faces and private parts alike. Not a ground breaking game but definitely worth the rental.
Time to 1000 gamerscore - 8 hours, 1 playthough on hard and mop up the rest of the cheevo's with the replay mission options. (Ps you can get gold star achievement on easy)- Was this review helpful to you?

Surprisingly Brilliant
By nachoscobo (16 reviews) from Glasgow , 29 Jul 2011I really never thought much of this game, I definitely wouldn't have considered buying it originally. But I ended up looking at the reviews for the game and a lot were saying that it was really good! So I thought, 'Hey, I might as well give it a go!' And I'm glad I did. Dead To Rights is brilliant, with quite a few unique selling points (like the missions where you play as Shadow the Dog or even the extreme gruesomeness in some scenes!) I thoroughly enjoyed the game, and I'm sure you will too.- Was this review helpful to you?
