The following is an excerpt from Edge-Online dated 28/11/08 relating to the rumoured cancellation of the PS3 version of this game:

THQ has confirmed that a PS3 version of Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon will in fact be available in Europe. It was only yesterday when the troubled publisher admitted that the PS3 version was cancelled – in America at least – due to “development issues”, thus making it a 360 exclusive.

Both console versions of the game have been delayed for Europe. “Destroy all Humans: Path of the Furon will be released on both the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3 formats on February 13th 2009 across Europe,” the company said.

“Due to the game being shipped earlier in North America on December 2nd, a decision was made to proceed exclusively with the Xbox 360 format in that market.”

Seeing as the PS3 is region-free, those eager to buy copies of the game won’t have too many barriers in front of them.

Very good fun if you just want to run around shooting people with a ray gun and blowing stuff up! It's also quite funny, like the other DAH games. No support for trophies, though

i loved playing these games on the PS2 but this game was pathetic and anoying. I gave it some time but in the end I turned it off and if i never play it again then I will die happy. The gameplay was stupid and the dialogue vas confusing to listen to. I would not play if your curious.

I'm actually quite disappointed with this game. I enjoyed the ps2 versions. The fact is this is very much the same. IN EVERY WAY!. Graphically for a ps3 game it's absolutely awful. It wouldn't be considered great if it was on xbox... (not xbox 360)

Now don't get me wrong. I'm not some mindless graphics obsessed teenager. I still happily play retro games. But I do expect a ps3 game to look like a ps3 game. It was clearly originally designed (badly) for a ps2 release. The controls aren't all that great, either, and the combat is clunky and poorly executed. It puts stupid limitations on where you can land your badly rendered flying saucer, the enviroment is more like something out of a bad open world ps2 game than a ps3 game The game its self just doesn't feel right. To put it plainly and simply. This is the worst PS3 game I've ever played, and that really is some achievement to behold.
