I admit, i haven't played the series since Dynasty Warriors 3. But i was sucked in by the way the system and the stratagy played out. I used to play a game that was quite similar on my dad's Windows 32 pc called Sword of The Samurai, and i loved that game so much.

You can play as a warrior travelling the land and doing Mercenary Jobs to level up your character or you can work for a lord after travelling to his land and pledge alligience. You can gain friends who will come into combat with you. You can rise up against your lord or simply claim some land for yourself if you're on your own anyway.

Upgrade your weapons and skills by earning gold through the campaign and by conquoring neighbouring provinces.

Plus it has quite an in depth character customisation making you able to create a character and play the campaign throughout as that person. You can create up to one hundred unique characters before you run out of space and they will be included in the campaign, which means you might come across one of your creations!

Alright, so i love the game. Can you blame me?

I thought it was a good game, although it's repartition value diminished pretty quickly.

It came with 5-6 different era's, but each one was the same thing.

However, the game play was phenomenal , as all Dynasty Warrior's are, and it had a real in-depth view of Ancient Chinese history.

Amazing Story, great game, got old sorta fast.

    Pro's+

    Easy 600+ gamerscore.

    Usual Koei character.

    Con's-

    Reptitive.

-Same as others in the series.

    Lack of originality.

Tried to player 2 player last night wife my wife - Cant play 2 player straight away unless you go on land of chaos, but this way is boring as no one attacks you. Apart from this its jus what we both expected and like about dynasty warriors. Good game for 2 players as long as 2nd player is happy to wait 1/2hr for 1st player to win a few battles. Good how they have decided to do the weapons as now you can pick exactly what you want. If they changed the way 2 player could be played this game would get 5 stars from us. But as it is we only give 3.5. Dont dismiss the game as it it fun.
